SUMMARY: Strange, humorous, quirky and dark, Naked by David Sedaris is a collection of a young man's random memoirs. With a fresh style of writing, Sedaris takes you through different stages, the adventures, and misadventures that leave you speechless, contemplative, or laughing out loud. Beginning with a boy's Tourette's and nervous tics on through his long stints of hitchhiking, one of the book's many quirks is that there is no cohesive plot; each chapter is a different, sidesplitting story.
WHAT MAKES THIS BOOK GOOD: I think what makes this this book good, and why I enjoyed it so much is the fact that it is such an unordinary writing style that leaves thoughts in your head, and that is was wittily funny.
RECOMMENDATION: I would recommend this book to someone who is tired of the run-of-the mill fictional story, who wants to read someone new and slightly addiction. Someone who enjoys random, and somewhat offending humor.
5/5 Stars.
