Plot Summary:
In this book Jenny's desire to go to boarding to school becomes a big deal. After pictures of her, The Raves' drummer and guitarist show up on page six, her principle decides she should attend a different school somewhere else. Blair's mother has just given birth to Yale, and now she is going into postnatal depression. This forces Blair to move out of the house and in with Vanessa. (Quite the odd pairing) Nate and Blair are finally in a stable relationship, when all of a sudden Nate and his friends take Captain Archibald's (Nate's father) yacht to Bermuda without telling anyone. By the time that Nate returns home, Blair has already moved on to Stanford Parris 5, though only because she thinks that he can get her into Yale. Isabel and Kati plan the whole senior class girls sleep over, and at the party Blair finds that she has been accepted to Yale. With her great news, she runs up stairs to find Nate and Vanessa kissing in the bath tub!
What did you like most?
I really enjoyed how realistic this book was. The book also captured my attention in the first chapter. I also liked how at the end of the book it leads you on the the next book. They are a continuum of stories.
Who would you recommend this book to?
I would recommend this book to any girl who likes really "gossipy" stories. This story really pulls you into it.
My rating of this book would be about a 7 because there are a lot of other books in this series, and I like the other ones a little bit better.
