The count of monte cristo is about a man named Edmond who is falsely accused of killing someone. When the actual killer was his best friend, Fernand. Fernand wanted the love of Edmonds life, Mercedes, but didn’t know how to get her. So he framed Edmond. Edmond was sent to a prison on the island of Monte Cristo. It was there that he realized his best friend framed him. He met an old priest, the priest taught him how to fight and there Edmond plotted his revenge.

(2) This book is good because it is full of surprises. It always keeps you guessing, whenever you think you have figured it out it takes another turn. It has everything you could ever want in a book. Action, adventure, mystery, and some romance.
